Save Our School’s (SOS) Funds(raiser)
Last year, the Kolter Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) raised over $79,000 to enhance your child’s educational experience. Kolter PTO raised funds for the cafeteria upgrade, library, science lab, and art programs. Kolter PTO also provided our teachers with money for their classrooms, professional development, training and so much more.

Due to Texas state budget cuts, the PTO’s financial role is more important than ever. The school has lost $275 per student in funding for the 2011-2012 school year. Although we cannot provide funding to pay teacher salaries directly, we can fund hourly consultants, equipment, materials and training as requested by the administration to help make up this shortfall.
General PTO Membership is only $15 per family; however, we are asking you to please consider making a tax-deductible gift at a higher level to help the school make up for the money lost to the budget cuts. Many employers have a program that will match your donation, so please check to see if yours provides matching funds.
Every dollar donated to the SOS Fundraiser will go directly to helping our kids. Contribute at the Skipper level or above and consider it your participation in this year’s Fall Fundraiser.
